Victoria Bley is both a student and teacher of the craft of writing. She lives in a remote hamlet in the wild and wooly rural West; a place that cattle rustlers and horse thieves used as a hideout one hundred fifty years ago. The rustlers left but the cows stayed. She and her husband spend their time on the back porch of their vintage stone cottage in the hills, where they both agree that cows make the best neighbors.
Victoria holds degrees in government and literary non-fiction and is currently at work on a Silk Roads themed romance trilogy.
Somehow she got tangled up with that Genghis Khan character while researching his beloved wife, Borte. She ended up writing a novel about their love story. Love, and much more besides.
History, romance and the Silk Roads, in a cottage of stone on a grassy, windswept knoll.
