Victoria Bley is the author name of a historical fiction novelist. She lives in a remote hamlet in the wild and wooly rural West; a place that cattle rustlers and horse thieves used as a hideout one hundred fifty years ago. The rustlers left but the cows stayed. She and her husband spend their time on the back porch of their vintage stone cottage in the hills, where they agree that cows make the best neighbors.
Somehow, she became tangled up with that Genghis Khan character while researching his beloved wife, Borte. She ended up writing a novel about their story. Love, in a time of war and conquest, and much more besides.
Victoria is currently at work on a Silk Roads-themed romance trilogy.
